What is the Proud to Call It Home™ Campaign?
The Proud to Call It Home™ civic pride campaign was originally launched in 1994 by the Young Leadership Council. Today under a new spirit of hope for our city's future, YLC members who are passionate about New Orleans have come together to re-launch the campaign.
The new Proud campaign revolves around encouraging all New Orleanians to share reasons why they are proud to live, work and play in New Orleans by uploading a video on this website. As an incentive to upload a video, participants will receive a Proud Passport. The Proud Passport will provide a discount at participating Proud businesses.
